Firework Safety outdoors and indoors

As usual injuries from fireworks. At least one from somebody injured in the face leaning over fireworks to light them or check why they had not yet rocketed.

At least one injury from fireworks thrown.

My scariest event was the Christmas-New Year in Prague when we were parked in a large car park by the riverside surrounded by others watching the city's fireworks display. We noticed lots of people lighting fireworks nearby. Very dangerous if a firework had landed near or on a car - filled with petrol.

Worse still, other people actually in the car parking area were lighting fireworks right next to their cars! Seeing one person, then two, then three, doing this, we decided to drive away as fast as we could.
